what should i eat to lose weight after 60 mins of stairmaster?
Byim 15 and I weight about 195 pounds (i know horrible!), ive recently be going to the gym for a week, using the Various stair master machines for an hour and plan to continue, but i have no idea what to eat to lose weight, can anyone give me tips or any words of advice on weight loss? Ive also been drinking Slim-fast for breakfast every morning. Can anyone also give me some ideas for veggie meals too, thanks!
Dont go into any diets; you are young and that’s not a good thing. if you want to lose weight, excercise( which you are already doing) and try to eat healthy. cut out all the junkfood, eat whole wheat bread instead of white bread. eat fish also; fish has a lot of omega 3’s and that’s really helpful, eat fruits and nuts. especially walnuts those are SUPER healthy. for a good meal steam some veggies some white rice, some salmon( or tilapia, etc.) and a cup of water or unsweetened iced tea. portion sizes are very important; you should only eat something the portion of the palm of your hand. i hope this helps:)

Fruits, veggies, high-fiber low-sugar/fat/calories foods.

Vegetables such as carrots and especially celery have what is called negative calories, because it actually takes more calories to digest and process than they provide, so you actually lose calories when you eat these. eat a few stalks with a meal to lower the calories you take in or eat a lot or a few by themselves for a negative calorie bonanza. Also, putting things on them will ruin this. So they are good as they will still provide lots of energy and nutrients.

Having a good breakfast is extremely important to losing weight ( recent studies have found this to be true), make sure you are eating a good breakfast, not just some diet shake. As for what you eat after wards, just limit fat and carbs, especially at night, as your body won’t be burning away the carbs as well as during the day.
btw-
carbs are: breads, sugars, rice, wheat’s.
fats: pretty straight forward.

Protien will make you feel full. Skim milk is a great drink. Plain fat free yogurt too. Protien triggers the full sensation the most of any kind of food. You may crave fats and sweets but that will pass. With a high protien diet also drink alot of water.
1 Week is nothing. Commit for 6 months and you will see results. Let yourself not care about results for the first 2 months, just focus on getting better at your routine and burning more/ doing more/ lifting more / running further etc. Focus on performance and your body will adapt to perform - meaning you get leaner stronger and more fit.
In the meantime eat healthy. Lots of vegetables, lots of water, TONS of water, lean meats, slow burning carbs like bran cereals (unsweetened). If you can teach yourself some basic cooking (how to creatively use spices) you can cook up lean meals that are still tasty (but without the butter, sauces, etc).
Eventually you will notice what you need to eat to have the energy to work out. That will come from the carbs you eat a few hours prior to your workout. If you time it right you can burn off a meal and get optimal energy.
Another trick is to drink coffee (not cokes..) AFTER your workout. Apparently the caffiene helps your recovery time so you are back on your feet quicker.
And work out hard!
