May I ask those with experience several questions about weight loss?

By admin

So I have a ton of questions. I began an exercise regimen I have made up myself, and I want to maximize both weight loss and energy while cutting down on things that are bad for me.
So far I am not too obsessively counting calories, my daily limit is AROUND 1000, more or less depending on what my folks are having.
I have started an exercise routine as of three days ago, I’m riding my bike every to this convenience store across town (about 2 miles back and forth) for my daily ONE cigarette (they sell units so it’s perfect). As I progress I will increase the strain by adding weights, adding more detours (winding around to different streets and such) and then eventually moving on to walking there on foot and finally running with the same additions (weights & detours).
So far I have come up with a lot of supplements and fads people have told me they tried with varying results, and I want to know which ones are safe.
So there are alli, TrimSpa, Xenadrine, and other diet pills/aids. I want one that will give me a good amount of energy with little to no bad side effects. So tell me if one of those worked or which other brand has worked for you?
One friend suggested Master Cleanse/lemonade fasting. I think from what I’ve read about it that the weight lost is just poo that comes out as diarrhea, so it doesn’t sound like something that will fit in too well with running around like a maniac outside. Plus I’ll just gain poo back when I get tired of drinking ucky lemonade. >:p
What about juice fasting? If you know anything about that please tell me what kinds and brands of juices to use. A lot of people tell me juice fasting is good for you and works, so I’d like to find out more about it.
As for acai berries, though, I don’t want to try that. I can’t afford such expensive fruit and I don’t think it tastes good enough to be so costly.

And if you have a suggestion please let me know. I need to lose 40 pounds minimum.

Look, umm… I’ve been on and off of diets since I was like 10 yrs old. I like sweets ALOT and I had to loose the weight to make the football team. Every single time I’ve done it I’ve done it NATURALLY. No pills, no magic diets, no wondershakes, just regular old exercise and diet.

You really need to balance your diet out. You have to get all your nutrients so you can keep going on through the day (and life!!) healthy and alert, especially if you work out. It’s easy. Eat alot of vegetables, moderate amounts of fruit (but it’s preferred you pig out on fruits than on junk) and lean meat / poultry / fish. Lay off the fats and the bread. Change to skim or soy milk. ZERO junk food (allright you can have a bite every now and then to cure the urge but only a bite). Drink lots of water (don’t overdo it though: there is such a thing as water poisoning) and lay off the soft drinks. Yeah even the "light" ones. Try drinking normal water, juice, lemonade, natural fruit drinks, etc. Oh and about which juice to recommend.. try grapefruit. Grapefruit helps burn fat. Just don’t overdo it cuz too much citric acid will give you a nice dose of heartburn.

The excercise sounds good. Just carefull not to overdo that too. In fact, try using your bike or walking instead of a car to go as many places as you can. Make excercise a part of your regular life.

Finally, be patient. You will lose weight but at a pace the natural way. It’s the only healthy and sure way you can do it and will not bounce back up again (unless you pig-out). Check your calorie intake to see if it’s normal. 1000 calories sounds too little to me. If you can, go to a nutritionist. It’s the best thing you can do for yourself.

PS: use stretch mark lotion cuz when you loose alot of weight you might develop em.
