Is the Master Cleanse okay to use as a jump start to weight loss?

Have to lose 30lbs so I can join the Military and I’m thinking of doing the Master Cleanse for a week to give me a "jump" on the weight loss. I’ve read enough about it that I know not to use it as my ONLY source of weight loss, so I’m thinking a week on it will help me get going.

To continue losing once I’m off the Cleanse, I plan to eat a lean protein/veggie diet of 1200 calories, combined with daily Cardio. Any other tips for post-Cleanse regimen?

Should I eat anything specific for a few days before I start? Also, is it OK to continue with my nightly walking while on this Cleanse, or am I even going to have the energy??

Master Cleanse is a scam.
Your colon does not carry the amount of waste weight that it claims. Anyone who has had a colonoscopy will testify to that.

Follow your diet plans, and drink LOTS of water.
Save your money, the MC won’t make any dramatic difference.

The Master Cleanse is going to make you feel really run down and tired.

If what you are trying to do is clean out your insides. Try this for two days.

Double size oatmeal servings three times a day and a glass of prune juice every morning.

It will give you a total clean out.

Natural and very inexpensive. After that start each morning with a small apple, organic and red is best.

Before every meal have a small apple, you still get vitamins and minerals but, by eating a small apple before each meal you can’t over eat.

You think flushing a few ounces of poop outta your ass = weight loss? Forget it……

You’re not going to lose weight by walking…get yourself on a circuit training, gym program, boxing training or any other training where someone’s going to push you to exercise.
