going on 3 months of working out hardcore an no weight loss?
ByI have been on a organic/ eating clean diet, i eat no complex sugars, no perservatives and no processed foods. I do 6 small meals a day and only drink water. I have been wring out hardcore 6 days a week sometimes more going on 3 months! I drink aprotein shake after workout every day. I am taing a good vitamen suplement. I have lost no weight. I only weight train 2/3 days a week and I do at least 30 miles of cardio a week some combination of biking, treadmill, elliptical, and astair master. I just decided to switch it up this week and do a minimum of 30 min interval running and then 15 min. stair master and 15 min bike 4 days a week and then 2/3 days circuit training where i weight lift for a few mins and then run a quarter of a mile and did that for 1.5 hours. I am really annoyed. I keep a journal of my work outs and what i eat. Why am i not seeing any results in my weight. I have lost (last time I checked a week ago 7 inches total on my body in 16 days ) know inches are good ut at this point i should see some downward movement on the scale?!
You seem to be gaining muscle at the same rate you’re losing fat so the # on the scale stays the same but 7 in is a lot of weight loss. So you’re definitely getting smaller..

Firstly, you don’t need to eat organic food, regular food is fine. There has been no conclusive study that says it is better tasting or more nutritious. Organic food does still contain pesticides, and pesticides in regular food are well within harmful limits. The poison is in the dose, take enough of anything and it will do harm, in small amounts it is safe. If you are eating a balanced diet, you don’t need vitamin supplements either(unless directed by doctor).
Is the reason you are eating 6 meals a day for convenience? If it’s because you read that it will increase metabolism and stop your body from going into starvation mode, that is a myth. Your body will use the same amount of energy to convert calories into energy. The amount of food you eat and the frequency of eating has no bearing on this.
As for the workout, are you weight training the same day as cardio, or splitting these days up? If they are split up, I’m not seeing when your rest days are. You should have 2 rest days a week, not having these is a problem.
The reason you may not see weight loss could be in part because of muscle gain. Muscle weights a lot more than fat. You say you are weight training, so this is a good possibility. Losing inches, as you say, from fat loss, is a good thing. If you aren’t seeing weight loss, but are seeing fat loss, I wouldn’t be bothered.
