can your body get …
can your body get addicted to eating at night? i eat dinner at around 6 and don’t usually go to bed till 12. it makes sense that i am hungary i guess, because by 10:00, after 4 hours of not eating, im hungary. but then i try and eat some fruit, but it doesn’t help so i just eat a little granola or some nuts and end up eating too much and then feel guilty for eating at night. any advice would realllly be appreciated. i’ve definitely gained the freshman 15 this year :(

@helloandmee fiber is what gives you the “full” feeling after you eat fruits, vegetables, whole grains such as oatmeal, brown rice, whole wheat bread. It keeps you fuller for a longer period of time because it actually gives bulk to food without adding calories.. .also makes you use the bathroom more regularly and is great for your digestive system and also to lower cholesterol.. high fiber foods are great for weight loss!

@MATUSOWNED those carbs from the bagel or pasta you eat is converted into glucose (sugar). It’s kinda like “hidden sugar” since most people don’t think about bread and pasta when they consider sugar; they are usually thinking about candies, cakes, soda, etc.

Another problem is going to bed at a level of 5, where you are neither hungry or full.

When you go to sleep at scale of 5 or 6(at about 10 or 11 o clock at night), does your mind ignore signals from being hungry while your asleep, just because your not awake?

Can anybody help me …
Can anybody help me? I just learned that I was supposed to eat only when I am hungry. The problem is that I do not know what hungry and fullness feels like, let alone satisfaction.

I don’t know the difference between satisfaction and fullness.

I also don’t know the difference between being mildly hungry and feeling neither hungry nor full. On the fullness scale of 1 - 10, I don’t know the difference between 4(mild hungriness) and 5(feeling not hungry nor full).

The only thing you …
The only thing you should consume in between meals is water and nothing else.

The time in between your meals should be at least 5 hours. 4 hours to digest your food and 1 hour for your stomach to empty. If you have breakfast at 7am lunch should be at 2pm.
