How long do I need to run for each day to lose weight?
ByI’m on a diet, I currently weight 182lbs wants to lose at least 20 aswell as healthy eating how long do I run for each day
Build it up, go for a run, no route but clock the distance, see how you feel and build from there, you’ll feel the benefits rather quickly. I wouldnt run everyday to start as you could risk injury, mix your route up so you dont get bored and keep a hydrated and have a healthy diet!

minimum 1 hour, 90 minutes better, 2 hours best doesn’t have to be fast or continuous just keep your heart rate above 130 as long as possible (or 150% of your normal heart rate)

If you have no experience with running then maybe start of with half a mile and then build on that each day making small amounts of progress. I hit the point where I was running 8 miles a day and weight was just falling off. The key is to just keep your heart rate up so you are working your circulatory system; so you don’t need to run at any particular speed/pass (just keep it up!). But you must maintain a healthy and nutritious diet while doing this otherwise you will make little progress.

If you are not a strong runner, start at about 1km-2km, and everday few days run a bit further than you did before. You don’t loose weight by running the same distance everyday.

Jogging at a moderate pace will burn off around 330 calories in 30 minutes. If all other factors are equal you need to burn off around 3,500 calories to burn off 1 lb in weight. So at that rate it would take around 10 days to do this.
