This guy has helped me a ton. Matt I am now following a CRON diet. Well at least compared to my McDonalds diet before. I am down 17 pds. Quick question. What should my Calorie Consumption be if I weigh 226…need to be at 200. Thanks brother.

Thanks ! I would defiantly incorporate foods like Figs, Almonds, Olives, Seeded Grapes as they are amazing at dissolving mucus in the system. Also Coconut water when training for minerals is helpful, its like natural Gatorade. A secret training trick I do is before class I immediately drink some water with honey and a dash of Baking soda in it for stamina.

I used to Fight out of a small school located out of Coachella Valley in Palm Springs. The team was very small consisting of Jim Abrille, Kurt Rojo (instructor) Cub swanson & Mike Moralis. Now the team is all broken apart and both Mike and Kurt own their own schools, Jim moved away and teaches now and I moved to vegas and Now on my way to Auburn CA. Cub fights in vegas in WEC stil Mike in King of the cage

Hey matt can you give me an idea on a skin disorder ive had since i was a child. Its called (Ichthyosis vulgaris) .My skin gets really scally and dry espeacially in the winter. I tried everything Please Help Me Thanx Matt

Hey I have a question actually, not sure if you know the answer. Does dicing fruit up cause it to lose any of its nutritional value? I want to take a giant fruit salad to work and eat it throughout the day, but many fruits seem to change texture and taste after they have been cut open and left like that.

im gunna be bording at school in september and really want to keep up a healthy lifestyle, but they provide all their meals for you i was definitley planning on having my own good foods in my room and that and there is a local farmers market a short walk away so its not all bad but what would you recomend doing to get the best at meal times?

awesome vid matt!! what I did was i found a community garden where people could have plots… almost any town has something like this, i got 30 square feet for super cheap, only did 2 hours of work per week

Hey Jayrod, I know it’s tough when you’re in school, I hope the video helped somewhat. Try making everything the night before. Fruit is a good choice to bring with you, sandwiches made on Ezekiel bread, a smoothie in a thermos jar…you can bring all that with you for the day. Tosca Reno’s Eat Clean Diet cookbooks can be pretty useful for ideas on snacks to bring, as well.

Oats are great …
Oats are great because they are cheap and can be used many ways. If you are not 100% raw, then oatmeal in the morning is great as a long-lasting carb source. And so so cheap. Flax seeds are also a great source of fibre and ALA Omega 3 and 6, and very cheap also.

Also an idea is preparing the dry ingredients in a shaker cup, so that you can just add water and shake it up when you want to drink it fresh.
