what is the most effective diet pill to control hunger and boost my metabolism ?

By admin

I am asking for my daughter she is currently only seventeen , and has struggled with weight her whole life. She has tryed everything, now just wondering which diet pill is best to aid her in her quest of a healthy weight. Please do not answer with diet and exercise as the only way to go , i know that people say there are risks and i understand that.

Please do not let your daughter take diet pills. That will be the worst decision. I have tried at least 10 different ones and none of them worked. They just made me very sick and miserable.

If you can afford it then enroll her to a weight watchers class.

Instead of pills suggest that your daughter changes her diet. Stay away from sugar and starches. Shun anything with added sugar and white flour. Eat mostly lean protein and green veggies. That will curb her hunger, and she will lose weight. Combine the change in diet with aerobic exercise. Walk, bike, swim, jump rope, run, etc. for at least 30 days each and every day.
The pounds will begin to come off, they did for me.

I have many friends who are currently taking DR. Prescribed diet pills. I myself am trying to lose weight, and sticking to just diet and exercise right now and I know its very hard. I myself have been over weight since puberty so Know how your daughter feels. My advice would be go to the doctor and don't do over the counter pills. The two that some of my friends are on is Phentermine, and Bontril and they have together lost over 200lbs in the last year. They have to go in for monthly dr visits to have heart rate monitored and blood pressure, because that is a side affect of diet pills. My one friend pays 50 a month, 25 for the Dr. Visit and 25 for the prescription. So its really not that much more than doing over the counter pills, and its healthier if you do it through a doctor. Best of luck to your daughter and I hope that helps!

Also my friend who is on the bontril, she didn't change her diet, and never exercised and lost over 80 pounds, she did eat less because it does suppress your appetite but she still ate what she enjoyed…. Hopefully her weight will stay off when the pills are gone, because she didn't change her habits, so encourage your daughter to try and change atleast the empty calories shes eating and possibly drinking!

I don't wish to offend you but, since your daughter is only seventeen and you say that she has struggled with her weight all her life, have you considered that you might be part of the problem.

With an overweight teen, it's often a family problem - poor food choices and sedentary habits don't happen on their own.

Maybe it's time you all started to educate yourselves about healthy eating and exercise instead of resorting to these pills which not only carry health risks but do not address the source of the problem and so individual tends to regain any weight lost once they are discontinued.

Again, I mean no offence but as a responsible parent, you should think very carefully before you allow your daughter to take diet pills as you may be affecting more than just her weight.

Good luck.

One way is by take diet pills, loose weight, then gain it back + more.
Or you can change her diet, & workout with her. I think if you support her & change your life style a bit, she could loose some weight.

Hoodia controls your appetite pretty good. I would highly recommend it over the rest. I have tried them all and hoodia controls your hunger. And they are cheaper than the rest so just give them a try with exercise.

I have tried a lot of the diet pills available and the one I had the most success with was Acai Ultra Burn. I lost over 40 lbs in 3 months while taking it and have kept all that weight off.

Hydroxycut is a great one!! (approx $20 a bottle)
Me and my boyfriend are both in our early 20's and use it. It is definitely a lot more effective if you take it and have some kind of daily exercise….
DOWNFALLS:
-A LOT of caffeine!!! (dont take it with soda, coffee)
-The dose they recommend on the bottle is just too much. It's best to take only one or two the first day and then ease your way up so that you know how much caffeine you can tolerate without becoming jittery, anxious, etc.

But it does give you that little extra boost that is so very helpful when just starting to lose weight.

Best of luck!
