How long would it take to lose weight?
By · CommentsIm 15 and weigh 220 lbs. A little bit before Christmas, I joined a martial arts school and the master gave me a diet plan. I’ve been following it and I seem to be losing very little to no weight. Is there anything I can do?
regardless of worries about weight stick with the martial arts!!! the best weightloss plan is a slow and steady one. count calories for a few days you may be suprised at how fast it adds up. make sure you eat at least 1200 calories regardless of the diet

How long do I need to run for each day to lose weight?
By · CommentsI’m on a diet, I currently weight 182lbs wants to lose at least 20 aswell as healthy eating how long do I run for each day
Build it up, go for a run, no route but clock the distance, see how you feel and build from there, you’ll feel the benefits rather quickly. I wouldnt run everyday to start as you could risk injury, mix your route up so you dont get bored and keep a hydrated and have a healthy diet!

I’ve told myself countless times that I need to lose weight. I try to eat healthy and work out but after a day or two I slip. I always unmotivate myself and it’s really annoying. I know the only way I can accept my body is if I workout and lose some weight. But how can I motivate myself so I can stick with my goals?
Making changes is HARD. Staying motivated is HARD. It is always easier to just say "screw it" and eat whatever you want.
You haven’t mentioned what your weight is or what your goal weight is. I believe there are 4 things that can increase your chance of success when trying to make a change like this:
S - be specific with your goals. Track your calories, log your food. Have a specific calorie goal in mind (and specific exercise goals)
W - Write it down. Write your goals down and they become more real
A - accountability, encouragement and support a powerful forces. Joining a site like www.loopchange.com can get you a helping of those things - all for free.
P - be patient! The weight didn’t come on in 1 week; it won’t come off in 1 week.
